Bring vs. Fetch

Bring means to carry something or come with someone to the place where you are or to the place where you are talking about :

Would you like me to bring anything to the party?
- She brought her boy friend to the party.
- The secretary brought him into the room.

Fetch is a British word meaning to go somewhere and get someone/something from the place they are.

- May you fetch Mary from the station.
- He fetched his newspaper from his house.
- I went and fetched another book.
