Present
Existing or happening now .

Current
Happening or existing ,being done or being used at the present time,of the present time.

- The current situation is very different from that in 1990.

Of laws, regulations, arrangements, systems and etc if they are existing, they exist or are used now.

Things,people,situations exist at the time in history we are now (especially when compared with the way it was in the past.)

Existent
A formal word meaning existing.The word is more common in negative form.
